The Process
The Brand Discovery Program looks at what is holding you back as an individual and playing small as a professional. It’s both a challenging and insightful process. Increasing confidence, expanding your personal impact, addressing the outdated beliefs about yourself, the truths you make up and the expectations you’ve created which hold you back.
This all gets looked at through the lens of what serves you and what doesn’t in our coaching. Ultimately, overcoming the resistance you have and stretching into more rewarding personal and professional lives.
If you’d like to know more about the coaching process, read on…
The three stage Personal Impact path:
- Step One: Unfulfilled range or living small.
- Step Two: Pushing the “arc”and extending your range.
- Step Three: Inclusion and Expansion.
Stage One: Unfulfilled range or living small.
This is the stage where things have to change, you look to start working with a coach around:
- Wanting to “design” your future, personally and professionally.
- You are contemplating big change.
- Struggling with issues you feel are insurmountable.
- You want to make a transition in career and kick start your own venture.
- You feel stuck in a routine.
- Yearning to explore your life purpose, defining your dream.
- Lacking creative breathing space due to overwhelm.
- You want to work on your core strengths as a professional and entrepreneur.
This restricted experience of life can be present due to many reasons. Life Circumstances can repress the expression of natural talents, you might have been told when you were young that certain traits “weren’t going to get you very far in life”, abilities and personal impact can be suppressed as over time, you try to conform and adapt so as not to stand out. You lose our edge, living within a zone that is far smaller than you maybe realise, you are just aware it feels unfulfilling, limited.
Side effects of living in this limited range:
- You are less resourceful, life feels small, literally, going round in circles.
- It’s difficult to find the tools and energy in order to instigate change.
- Your professional life and career options seem shut down.
- Overwhelm at the multitude of tasks in front of you.
- A prevalent sense of “fire-fighting” just to survive.
- New challenges burden you due to your low energy.
- Hopes and dreams become relegated to “someday”.
There is an awareness, a vague sense of other, wider ranges of life experience outside of your current, you see it demonstrated in others, although you don’t know how to reach it or expand your experience into it.
Stage Two: Pushing the “arc” and extending your range.

When you work with PI coaching, you look to address what’s holding you back, coaching around where you feel stuck in repetitive, small patterns. I work to push awareness of self and what you believe you are capable of out into new realms of experience.
Through coaching, with accountability, challenge, reflection and safe courageous space, you push your “arc” outwards into new experience. You feel what it’s like stretched into a new range of living. It is exciting and hugely rewarding, it takes bravery and requires commitment.
Some examples of “arcs” might be:
- Starting your own business and finally leaving your job.
- Instigating difficult but essential conversations.
- Leaving the structure of a well paid job to pursue an uncertain goal.
- Committing to the trip up Kilimanjaro.
- “Owning” and demonstrating by example your talents and skills.
- Speaking or pitching in public.
This new wider-range knowledge and experience gets “drawn” back into your current realm of understanding, very often inciting the “ah-ha” response!
Stage Three: Inclusion and Expansion

You include these fresh realisations of what’s possible for you. You include new-range. This in turn, leads to an expansion in yourself, you quite literally grow as you arc into new experience. You have more confidence in yourself and a greater understanding of what you are capable of.
Results of”pushing your arc” and challenging your status-quo:
- Confidence increases, you are more self-assured both in your decisions and your abilities.
- You reclaim breathing space and there’s less a sense of restriction.
- You’ll get clear about the life you want and have the impact to get you there.
- Be able to take big decisions and instigate brave choices.
- Leadership and entrepreneurial skills flourish as you realise your true capabilities.
- Naturally powerful communication skills unfold.
- A sense of wellbeing, calm and the love of life increases.
- Pitching and public speaking becomes a challenge and not a dread.
